What is it that makes one organisation more successful than another, or enables one team to perform
better than another?

There are many factors that contribute to this differentiation.

The management challenge is to be able to unbundle these factors, identify those that are not working and
improve them.

The Organisational Effectiveness Profiling methodology has identified 19 drivers of organisational success:

          

The OEP process measures your Organisation on 19 different drivers of effectiveness in the area of Culture and
Behaviour, Business Processes, and Strategic Intent.
OEP also provides a set of tools and processes to help
managers and their teams address identified driver weaknesses thereby improving team success!

 

  

OEP is used as a powerful business improvement tool:

  •    To ensure that the organisational/team direction is appropriate, widely understood
       and accepted. That the organisation/team is supported by appropriate processes
       and systems. That the culture encourages personal success.
  •    To respond appropriately to emerging competitive threats
  •    To enable newly appointed team leaders to quickly find out what is ‘really going on’,
       build team support for action, lift team performance, shift team direction/emphasis,
       reinforce new team values
  •    As a forward looking and action oriented alternative to staff opinion surveys
  •    As a regular ‘health check’ at either the team level or organisational level
  •    Where team structure/members/dynamic has changed

A key success factor of this process stems from the fact that employees are willing to share their views on how things can be improved within the Organisation as their opinions are guaranteed anonymous and consequently there is no fear of subsequent reprisal or victimisation.

  •    Comprehensive results of the Diagnostic can be presented to Senior Management
       within days of closing off the Diagnostic part of the process;
  •    The Diagnostic takes only 20 minutes to complete by an employee;

OEP t20:

The t20 product is a slightly abridged methodology for smaller Organisations with fewer than 20 people involved in the business.
